Fankultur gegen Blatter-Wahn
BAFF fordert den Erhalt und Ausbau der Stehplatzkultur
Das bundesweite Bündnis aktiver Fußballfans (BAFF) weist die Forderung des FIFA-Chefs Blatter nach der Abschaffung von Stehplätzen in Fußballstadien zurück.
Im Newsletter des WM-Organisationskomitees behauptet FIFA-Vorsitzender Blatter, dass von Stehplätzen mehr Gewalt ausginge, dort alles in Bewegung sei und fordert reine Sitzplatzarenen, da diese auch familienfreundlicher seien.
BAFF-Sprecher Johannes Stender: „BAFF kann die Aussagen Blatters in keiner Weise unterstützen. Die von Blatter angesprochene Bewegung auf den Stehplätzen gehört zu Fußball dazu. Wir wollen keine Kino- oder Theateratmosphäre." Stender fordert den Weiterbestand der in den deutschen Stadien seit Jahren bewährten Stehplatzkultur.
In diesem Zusammenhang seien noch mal die Bedenken von Stehplätzen als Sicherheitsrisiko entkräftet und die Vorteile dieser herausgehoben.
Das Bündnis weist hier auch auf die letzten Vorfällen in Italien oder beim Länderspiel der Schweiz in der Türkei hin, die alle in reinen Sitzplatzstadien stattfanden.
Das Bündnis aktiver Fans hebt auch den sozialverträglichen Charakter von Stehplätzen hervor und führt die Überlegungen des Hamburger Sportvereins an, zusätzliche Stehplätze einzurichten. Begründet wurde dies laut Stender unter anderem mit dem sozialverträglichen Charakter von Stehplätzen. „Jugendlichen, Niedrigverdienern und arbeitslosen Fans erleichtern die niedrigeren Stehplatzpreise den regelmäßigen bzw. spontanen Stadionbesuch" so der BAFF-Sprecher.
Auch aus dem Gesichtspunkt der Sicherheit wehren sich die Fans gegen reine Sitzplatzstadien. Stehplätze ließen sich im Panikfalle schneller räumen. Johannes Stender erklärt hierzu: „Eine Ideallösung wäre für uns die Abschaffung der Käfighaltung hinter Zäunen oder Plexiglas.
Zumindest sollte es aber ausreichend viele und im Notfall schnell zu öffnende Fluchttore geben. Gräben oder wie bei der WM geplant, Gummibänder, gefährden die Sicherheit und das ausweichen auf den Rasen im Falle einer Panik".
Es gibt einen aktuellen Beschluß der Deutschen Fußball Liga (DFL), der vorsieht auf Grund der positiven Erfahrungen mit Stehplätzen in der Bundesliga, sich bei der UEFA dafür einzusetzen, auch bei internationalen Spielen wieder Stehplätze zuzulassen.
Die Fan Vertreter fordern bereits seit Jahren, die seit 1998 bestehende Pflicht, ausschließlich Sitzplätze für internationale Begegnungen bereit zu stellen, zurücknehmen und funktionierende
Stehplatzkultur nicht weiter zu gefährden. BAFF-Sprecher Stender: „Wir wünschen uns, dass die Vertreter von DFB und DFL Ihren Beschlüssen nun Taten folgen lassen und sich in UEFA und FIFA für die Stehplätze in Fußballstadien einsetzen."
