1. FC Köln
Der 1 FC Köln ist der größte Sportverein von Köln. Seine Bekanntheit verdankt er hauptsächlich der Profifussballabteilung der schon insgesamt drei mal den deutschen Meistertitel gewann. Gegründet wurde der Verein am 13.02.1948 als einen Zusammenschluss von den zwei Fussballvereinen; Kölner BC 01 und SpVgg Sülz 07. Dieser Schritt erschuf einen großen und wirtschaftlich ertragsreichen Verein für Köln zu gründen. Seit dem März 2002 gliederte sich die Profifussballmannschaft als 1 FC Köln GmbH & Co. KGaA. Neben dem Bekanntheitsgrad des Sportes ist auch noch die Fanabteilung weit bekannt.
